Blog Crush: The Paupered Chef
Wow. Since most of you, you know, KNOW me, most of you know I wrote a cookbook about a year ago called Real Food: A Grinnell Culinary Survival Guide, the theme of which was how to make cheap good food with limited access to fancy ingredients city slicked get. Like, you know, coconut milk. (Sigh. My heart goes out to any little bitty Grinnellians out there who have to put up with that shit still.) Anyway, the point is that I appreciate a lack of snobbiness about the quest towards culinary perfection, and the folks at The Paupered Chef are one hundred percent on my page.
